Welcome to the Arlington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. This year has been a great year of renewed optimism and commitment to our Hispanic business community. Our city continues to grow and continues to receive the type of attention and visibility that it deserves as a result of continued development in the area of entertainment, retail, and commercial growth. The following are activities that the chamber has undertaken to contribute to the growth and development of our city, our business community and to our families and children:
1. Currently working on a deliverable to host a public forum with key and diverse stakeholders to discuss and develop recommendations for the best strategies and means to implement the Champion Arlington Development Strategic Plan. This deliverable will be completed in June.
2. Met with the Texas Rangers to discuss enhancing communications between both parties and to develop future partnering and procurement opportunities for members.
3. Continue to achieve a great level of success in the current membership drive. We are seeing new members from both small business owners and the corporate world. I encourage those that are interested in joining a growing and vibrant organization to become a member. The membership drive will end in June.
